What did the Caspian Sea?

“There are things you do because they feel right and they may make no sense and they may make no money and it may be the real reason we are here: to love each other and to eat each other’s cooking and say it was good.”

Brian Andreas

And maybe I don't want to travel anymore. Maybe all these plans, all these many options that arose from some twist  (or twisted) fate are just there to make me realize how much I want to go home. To make it so easy to see that I want to go home. And maybe I do wanna go back home, slow down, listen to some new granpa stories, watch a lot of bad tv, read some pages in the backyard, talk more with my mom. Maybe. Maybe I do. I think I do. Why wouldn't i? Wouldn't you?!

This week will tell.

sometimes i can't remember things that i will never forget.

"april is the cruellest month, breeding
lilacs out of the dead land, mixing
 memory and desire, stirring
 dull roots with spring rain."
t.s. eliot

i know it passed and i didn't write, but i didn't forget. i could never forget.
i'm going to nepal. you'd like it. i'll take you with me. we'll see it together.

we should have taken more pictures of us.

does it all seem repetitive?

some people say it's happening all over again.
but it seems like it's happening for the first time.

one (wo)man show

i feel a bit like i'm on vacation, the weather confirms, the good and bad habits as well, the judgemental looks i get for not having a 9to5er with a crappy salary, too. well this is a very long vacation. which is why the ratio of enjoying weather/good habits/ bad habits/ judgemental looks is very unbalanced.

i feel like i'm on vacation but i'm the only one. and who wants to go on vacation alone?

maybe i do. and i'll just call it a study and self-discovery vacation. oh, the things we do to keep our brains sane.

really smart phone

really smart phones, or rps as they would be called, would get to know you first. thanks to that, they will give you a different message than "the person you have called is unavailable right now" or "the person you have called is currently busy".

the really smart phone would say "the person you have called is emotionally unavailable" or "the person you have called no longer has feelings for you".

with time, they would even offer advice. "the person you have called is emotionally unavailable - a surprise visit with their favorite dish is most recommendable". and when they'll get really really really smart they'll say things in haiku formats or start rhyming "the person you have called no longer has feelings for you - you can cry, you can moan, but best is to move on!"
but then they'll get too smart and become very sarcastic & condescending, they'll be fed up with all the silly things people consume themselves with, with all the miscommunication, with all the efforts we put in complicating things, and adding all these on top of already being pretty straightforward, well, blunt, would only make people hate them and fear them more. they'll even start calling them "herpes phones", cause herpes sounds a bit like rps and they would think the name fits since they would fear them as much as they do the virus. they would also find it pretty funny. and so those really smart phones will be gone forever and the human race will be happier lying to each other over nokia 93ssssW56WW857. or 3xiPhones. or superskype.

i'd still invent me one of those.

jabberwocky

after years of thinking that thanks to international agreements and the need to understand one another some things are just what they are, you suddenly realize that your concept of afternoon, dinner or 15 minutes is nothing like anyone else's.

humpty dumpty, make note that I'm frumious

usturoi, usturoi, usturoi, repeat after me, usturoi, usturoi.
rofl.

stretch as much as your duvet lasts

roughly translated from a very meaningful romanian proverb (întinde-te cât te ține plapuma), "stretch as much as your duvet lasts" means whatever you want it to mean, depending on the context.

for example, if you're having chocolate that you don't want to share and someone asks you for some you can reply "you should be stretching as much as your duvet lasts" and walk away. similarly, if your parents want you to get the best grades and get into the best school but you are into football you might say "folks, i think i'll stretch as far as my duvet lasts on this one" and step away to dream about becoming the next next beckham.

well, you get it. but it's not so much about limitations as it is about laziness. in india or about india, a similar in structure, but different in meaning, catchphrase could go like "eat as much as your roti lasts". why?

one, because you should always finish your rotis. so dear tandoori roti, please know that i will never ever leave you on a plate. i will always finish you up, even if there is too little gravy to fill your generous capacity and even if my generous eating capacity has been filled.

two, because so goes my story of india. just when i thought i had enough, i had a bit more. and surprisingly, i could still take it. and this has happened more than once, making it seem like infinit limits. infinit limits because you might never test them all the way, so even if you're one street crossing experience away or two rickshaw rides away from getting that nervous breakdown, if it hasn't happened yet there is infinit potential. yes, i call the unknown - infinit.

dear india, you're the Virginia Woolf of countries - slightly bipolar, but with awesome stories. and i love you and hate you altogether, so i guess you and me are somewhat alike. and i shall have great stories too. one day.

who cares about headers?

i do. and maybe you too.
and right now i can't make up my mind.

left or right?!
yes, i am looking for spiritual guidance.
till i get it, i'll leave the last one on, as a rain chant. or rant.

(later edit - i meant "up or down?"so no, it wasn't a trick question.)

"i love my new bunny suit, when i wear it i feel cute"

happy easter, i guess.

vă rog iertați-mi melancolia, it's gonna get ugly.
deci sărbători fericiți. ȘI poftă bună la masă.
